We helped equip two community members with a car!

Our nonprofit has gone public! After many long nights which can be compared to staying up with a crying newborn, we held numerous board meetings and filed all the necessary nonprofit paperwork.

Equipping Neighbors in Our Community (ENOC) would like to report on the incredible success of our recent community event in partnership with Solis Ministries, held on April 22nd, 2023. Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated team and the hard work of our volunteers, we were able to bring our community together for a day of unity and service. We were also able to help raise funds and we gave away two cars to two community members that were nominated by the Dinuba community.

The event was a tremendous success, with local residents, businesses, and organizations all showing up to show their support. Throughout the day, we had a range of activities, including free food, a resource fair and music. But what really made the day special was the sense of community that everyone felt. Special thanks to Solis Ministries for allowing ENOC to partner with you on this endeavor.

We are proud to say that we have also been working closely with at-risk youth, helping to empower them and equip them to serve their community. We believe that by giving these young people the opportunity to make a positive impact in their community, we can help to build a better future for us all.

We also honored our current teen volunteers with a BBQ dinner. There were over fifty teens in attendance and we had twenty sign up to volunteer at our next community event! District Four Supervisor Eddie Valero presented the teens with certificates honoring them for their community service and spoke words of encouragement to the teens.

Our next big event is just around the corner, and we are excited to announce that we will be handing out school supplies this summer to families in need. The teens will be leading the event as we hand out backpacks, school supplies and BBQ for the families. If the teens serve at the event and enroll in a finance class, they will earn a FREE trip to Roller Towne! This is a great opportunity for these teens to learn important financial skills while also giving back to their community.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported us thus far. It is because of your generous contributions and volunteer work that we are able to make such a positive impact in our community. If you would like to help us continue our work, please consider making a monetary donation or volunteering your time.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of all those we serve.
